Pesticides effect on growth of dark septate endophytes in vitro

Abstract Pesticides are the necessary agrochemicals used in agricultural practice for prevention of crops from pests and diseases. may have direct effects on non-target organisms, particularly these saprobic symbiotic soilborne fungi. Dark septate endophytes (DSE) endophytic fungi that colonize living plant roots without causing a negative impact. DSE might function as mutualistic taking part nutrients altering environmental tolerance host plants, especially stressed environments. The research was aimed to study effect pesticides growth, spore production, morphology isolated citrus. This test three active ingredients namely Propineb 70%, Mancozeb 80 % (fungicides), Glyphosate (herbicide). Dosage treatments were 0.5 times, 1-time, 2-times recommended doses, control (without pesticides). Three isolates 5, 19, TLG 2 isolates. showed growth PDA containing various doses 70% significantly different control, well density. 80% affects all compared control. isolate 19 more susceptible concentration medium 5 density use relatively mild inhibitory sporulation DSE.
